Job summary

Air Hydro Power Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to supervise daily operations and drive efficient project completion. You will lead the team, oversee scheduling, and ensure equipment is ready and in safe condition.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with at least two years in a warehouse setting. A GED/HS diploma is required, and MS Office proficiency is expected.

  • At least two years of related warehouse experience preferred.

Description

The Warehouse Team Leader will supervise and lead an assigned team through the daily activities in the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of projects.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Assists with hiring and training team members.
  • Oversee the daily workflow; oversees scheduling and assignments of the assigned team.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Ensures that the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.
  • Leads team in conducting daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks, conveyor equipment, and specific portions of tractor‑trailer and over‑the‑road trucks.
  • Inspects quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the team.
  • Verifies that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards, and that order slips match and have the appropriate signatures.
  • Keeps team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.
  • Maintains detailed and accurate work records.
  • Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implements viable ideas.
  • Resolves conflicts that arise among team members and/or other employees.
  • Orders new equipment as requested by management.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • At least two years of related work experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • The essential functions of this role regularly require the employee to sit; use their hands to grasp, handle, or feel objects; and to speak and hear effectively.
  • The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
