Ryder System, Inc. in Greenwood, IN is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead to direct daily warehouse operations, lead a small team, and drive safety and efficiency.

The role covers loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. You will report to the site supervisor, mentor teammates, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize KPI performance, with weekly pay and comprehensive

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred.
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• One (1) year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner knowledge/experience required.
• Valid forklift operator's license required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles.
• Assist with orientation and provisioning of tools and information for employees.
• Promote health and safety methods within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
