Job summary

HD Supply in Northlake, IL is seeking an experienced warehouse associate with leadership responsibilities. You will work across multiple departments within the distribution center, provide guidance and training to warehouse associates, and help optimize daily operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with warehousing tasks and equipment, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork to support efficient inbound/outbound processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in warehousing or distribution center environments.
• Experience leading or mentoring teammates in a warehouse setting.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains warehouse associates on warehousing duties, including material handling equipment usage.
• Coordinates and prioritizes warehousing work to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Operates material handling equipment to load, unload, pick, stock, and stage inventory.
• Ensures warehousing functions run smoothly and escalates issues to management.
• Verifies and records product and shipment data in the inventory system.
• Maintains clean work areas and adheres to safety policies and procedures.
• Completes required paperwork during shifts.
• Serves as back-up for all warehousing functions.
