Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc is seeking a Lead General Warehouse Associate to work 6am-2:30pm in Joliet, IL. You will work across multiple DC departments including case pick, shipping, receiving, and replenishment, guiding other associates and training them on warehouse tasks and equipment.

The role emphasizes coordinating warehousing work, safely operating material handling equipment, and ensuring accurate data entry into the inventory system.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a distribution center or similar environment.
• Experience leading or mentoring warehouse staff.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains warehouse associates on duties and equipment use.
• Coordinates and prioritizes warehousing tasks to ensure efficiency.
• Operates material handling equipment for loading, unloading, picking, stocking, and staging.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and paperwork is completed.
• Provides data entry for shipments in the inventory system.
• Acts as back-up for all warehousing functions.
