Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Lead General Warehouse Associate for weekend shifts (6am–6:30pm) at our Northlake, IL distribution center. The role blends hands-on warehousing with coaching and supervising teammates across multiple departments, including picking, receiving, shipping, and replenishment.

You will train teammates on material handling equipment, prioritize tasks, and escalate issues to management. A technical certificate or associate degree plus several years in a DC environment are

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a distribution center across multiple departments.
• Experience coaching or mentoring warehouse staff.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and supervise daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains warehouse associates on duties and equipment.
• Coordinates warehousing work to ensure efficient task completion.
• Operates material handling equipment for loading, unloading, picking, stocking and staging.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and data entered into inventory system.
• Back-up for warehousing functions and reports as required.
