Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Lead to work with the Warehouse Supervisor in Topeka. The role includes leading daily warehouse activities, assisting with order filling, training team members, and ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.

You will use forklift and pallet jack equipment as needed, maintain clean and organized work areas, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year of work experience.
• Background in warehouse and inventory control fundamentals.
• Experience in a leadership role preferred.
• Strong communication, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
• Prior forklift and powered rider pallet jack experience; PIT certification on hire.
• Basic computer application skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute warehouse goals daily with the warehouse supervisor.
• Lead daily activities of warehouse teammates to ensure safe, successful completion of all related activities.
• Verify and ensure compliance with warehouse processes including damaged product handling.
• Train and lead warehouse personnel and pursue continuous improvement.
• Communicate process and personnel improvements, quality, and out of stocks to management and staff.
• Operate industrial power equipment to restock and replenish products as needed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area in compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and company policies.
