Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Presta AG in Kansas is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead I to manage and coordinate activities on the warehouse floor. You will provide on-the-job training, ensure safety, and interact with customers and management to meet quality and delivery requirements.

You will oversee inspections, lead a team of up to 15, ensure proper tools and documentation, and report progress to the Onsite Manager. This role requires strong organization, multitasking, and basic English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor
• Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must read, write and speak basic English
• Computer literacy with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and email software
• Safety-mindedness

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection process and inspect customer products for the assigned tables.
• Lead by example, stay organized, and maintain good housekeeping in all areas of the facility.
• Ensure all employees work safely and in accordance with health and safety policies.
• Coordinate shift start activities (table requirements, paperwork, etc.).
• Ensure tools and materials are available for completion of jobs on site.
• Provide on-the-job training for new work instructions when applicable.
• Be accountable for all personnel assigned to specific jobs.
• Provide input to Onsite Manager regarding completion of objectives and tasks.
• Report policy or procedure violations to Onsite Manager.
• Participate in safety initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction through interactions.
• Ensure documentation and paperwork are submitted daily.
• Maintain tool kits, PPE, and materials for job completion.
• Comply with customer and tk regulations and work rules.
• Maintain customer site badge access when required.
• Perform cycle time studies to assist with job quotations.
• This role works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
