Job summary

Euclid Chemical in Cleveland, OH, is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to support hourly staff and coordinate flow of goods to meet delivery deadlines. You will oversee inbound/outbound freight, order picking, and SAP-based transactions while promoting safety and accuracy.

The role requires a High School diploma, warehouse experience, and proficiency with Office; DOT Hazmat certification or willingness to obtain is preferred. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• DOT 49 CFR HAZMAT certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Forklift and/or Reach Truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise hourly warehouse personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Coordinate dock operations, including managing inbound/outbound trucks, dock scheduling, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Ensure all incoming freight is properly inspected, verified, and dispositioned in a timely manner.
• Assist with order verification and coordinate accurate loading of outbound freight to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor and support KPIs such as on-time shipment, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and labor productivity.
• Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives related to workflow, layout, and material handling to improve throughput and reduce errors.
• Enforce and model compliance with safety policies, operating procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Process inbound and outbound freight transactions in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new employees and reinforcing standard work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
