Job summary

Idlogistics in Henrico, VA is seeking hands-on Team Leads to support a high-volume warehouse operation. You will oversee workflows, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate across departments to meet deadlines.

Role requires 2–5 years in warehousing, strong communication, and comfort with basic reports and safety procedures. It offers multiple shifts with differential pay and opportunities for leadership growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college-level study preferred.
• Two to five years of experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• PC computer skills and the ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees or customers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and work with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support activities in assigned areas to ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
• Monitor workflow, product handling, labeling, and order preparation for quality and compliance with established procedures.
• Assist with training and guiding team members on safety rules, operating instructions, and standard work practices.
• Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and other leadership roles regarding priorities, workflow issues, and operational needs.
• Identify and help resolve routine problems in a practical and timely manner.
• Complete routine documentation, reports, and related computer-based tasks accurately.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
