Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Norcross, GA is seeking a full-time Warehouse Lead to manage our busy warehouse operations. The position is primarily Monday–Friday with a 6:00 am start and occasional Saturdays; you will support the Warehouse Manager with shipping, receiving, inventory and staff supervision.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of supervisory warehouse experience, strong verbal and written communication, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift/move items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in supervising the warehouse team and ensure efficient packing, shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in daily warehouse operations.
• Oversee preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory.
• Ensure accuracy and condition of shipments, review records and address discrepancies.
