Job summary

Staffmark Group in La Vergne, TN is hiring a Team Lead to superviseReceiving, put-away and picking operations and to drive accuracy and efficiency across the warehouse. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on oversight of daily workflows.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse or distribution experience, proficiency with MS Outlook/Excel/Word, and the ability to train staff, solve problems, and improve processes while maintaining a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification training.
• Warehouse, supply chain, or receiving experience preferred.
• Team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• English reading/writing; bilingual is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing workloads and work across departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and log incoming products and shipments.
• Perform random sampling and coordinate quality inspections with QC.
• Transport, label, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and report discrepancies.
• Supervise receiving, put-away, and picking operations for accuracy.
• Train, coach, and support Receiving department team members.
• Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and ISO/TL9000 standards.
• Monitor workflow and identify process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe warehouse environment.
• Perform additional warehouse leadership duties as assigned.
