Job summary

Ingram Content Group is seeking an Operations Team Lead in La Vergne, TN to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead hourly associates in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality and productivity while acting as the department lead in the absence of the supervisor.

The candidate should have a HS Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of warehouse operations experience, plus PC-based applications familiarity.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent.
1 year experience with PC-based applications.
1 year in a warehouse operations environment.
6 months' experience with physical tasks listed.

Responsibilities

Trains and develops hourly associates.
Acts as the department contact for all production systems issues and questions.
Provides direction and leadership to associates.
Identifies, communicates, and ensures all quality and productivity standards are met within the department.
Research issues, problems, or concerns and recommends solutions.
Meets customer requests, deadlines, commitments, and quality standards in a timely manner.
Plans and coordinates work activities, overseeing hourly associates to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
Coordinates with other departments on workflow activities.
Assist in administering policy and payroll activities.
