Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Lead for the 2nd shift in Cranbury, NJ. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, drive productivity, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment while coordinating a Sunday-Thursday schedule with Sunday first shift.

You will lead inbound, inventory, and order-picking activities, promote process improvements, and mentor a diverse team to achieve high performance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and resolve conflicts within a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic computer proficiency, with experience using warehouse or inventory systems preferred.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy and support inspection processes (experience preferred).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate inbound operations, including unloading, verifying shipments, and ensuring accuracy and damage-free deliveries.
• Oversee inventory processes in ERP/WMS systems, including put-away, product rotation, and maintaining accurate location tracking.
• Manage warehouse flow (picking, staging, storage, and shipping) to drive high productivity and quality standards.
• Ensure safe and efficient use of material handling equipment while promoting a strong safety-first culture.
• Assign work, manage schedules, and monitor team performance to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain compliance with reporting, QSHE standards, and quality systems (ISO/AS), while keeping a clean, organized, and secure facility.

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily operations, drive productivity, and ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality work environment during our 2nd shift.

This role follows a Sunday-Thursday schedule (3:00pm-11:30pm), with first shift hours (6:00am-2:30pm) on Sundays.

Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles.
