MGM Transformer LLC in Vernon, CA is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead for 2nd shift to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate inventory and timely shipments.

You will coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, enforce safety procedures, provide coaching, and drive process improvements using WMS and MS Office.

The role requires 3+ years in warehousing with 1–2 years in leadership and a strong focus on productivity, quality, and compliance.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Assign tasks and provide directions to warehouse staff to meet operational goals.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor workflows and adjust as needed to support changing priorities or workloads.
• Lead, motivate, and train warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members to promote skill development and accountability.
• Assist in scheduling work shifts and ensuring proper staffing levels.
• Support new employees onboarding and ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts and audits.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory or shipping documentation.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards before shipment.
• Oversee proper labeling, packaging, and handling of materials.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety checks and report potential hazards promptly.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement improved warehouse processes.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize operations and track performance metrics.

Qualifications:

Required
