Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions seeks a Warehouse Team Lead to coordinate daily workflow and productivity under the Warehouse Supervisor. The role is full-time in Orlando, FL, with pay of $21 per hour and typical M-F 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with overtime and weekends as needed.

You will train staff, coach performance, ensure safety and quality, manage paperwork, assist with maintenance of equipment, and support customer order fulfillment while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years’ experience in a warehouse role.
• General fluency in English, verbal and written.
• Basic computer literacy; MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow and productivity under the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Provide daily coaching to warehouse staff to improve productivity and quality.
• Monitor performance issues including safety and attendance and report to supervisor.
• Uphold safety policies and safe operation of equipment.
• Ensure accuracy of paperwork and data entry by the team.
• Fulfill customer orders and support material handling as needed.
• Coordinate routine maintenance on warehouse equipment when asked.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and support shift scheduling.

Opportunity summary:

The Warehouse Team Lead for Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions will help coordinate the daily workflow and productivity of warehouse staff at the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor. $21hr M-F 8a-430p overtime and weekends as needed

How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions

• Help train and coordinate warehouse staff on processes, policies, and equipment, as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor.
• Provide daily coaching to warehouse workers in order to improve productivity, performance, and quality on the warehouse floor.
• Give input to warehouse supervisor on status of warehouse workers on any performance issues, including productivity, attendance, safety, or quality as noted.
• Closely uphold and help monitor the compliance with all safety policies and operation of warehouse equipment.
• Adhere to quality process and measures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Review required paperwork and data entry by warehouse team, as instructed by Warehouse Supervisor
• Fulfill customer orders as needed, including material handling, making sure accuracy standard is set high.
• Help coordinate routine maintenance on all material handling equipment when/if asked.
• Keep warehouse clean, accessible, and safe for branch staff and visitors.
• Work with packaging engineers/ designers to meet customer needs.
• Coordinate and adjust shift schedules as necessary to meet peak customer demands.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Need To Succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years’ experience as warehouse clerk required
• General fluency in English required, verbal and written
• Basic computer literacy required, prefer knowledge of MS Office
