Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and material handling.
• Ensure materials support production while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Promote safety, GMPs, and food safety standards.
• Train, coach, and mentor warehouse team members.
• Monitor employee performance and provide accountability as needed.
• Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
• Ensure FEFO (First Expired, First Out) product rotation.
• Develop employee schedules to maintain shift coverage.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support production goals.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and submit maintenance requests when necessary.
• Ensure effective shift handoffs and communication between teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Team Lead - 3rd Shift

Location: Oakdale, CA

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Lead to oversee overnight warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities, supporting inventory accuracy, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team to ensure materials are received, stored, and delivered efficiently.

Schedule

• Initial schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM-7:00 AM
• After the first few weeks, the schedule may transition to Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, based on business needs.

• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and production support.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Union environment experience is a plus.
• Must be flexible to work other shifts as needed.
• Must be available to support peak production periods, including extended schedules and overtime when required.
