Job summary

Guest Supply is seeking a Warehouse Lead for the 3rd shift (8:00 PM–4:30 AM, or 8:00 PM–6:30 AM on 10-hour days). The role directs daily workload, sets priorities, and leads a team to deliver superior service to our Distribution Centers, Customers, and Suppliers, while maintaining a proactive relationship with management.

The position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, HS diploma or GED, and 2–5 years of warehouse experience with knowledge of inventory control

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2–5 years of warehouse experience with strong knowledge of Import/Export receiving, shipping, and inventory control processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Supervisors to determine daily, weekly, and monthly workload.
  • Direct a team of employees and provide leadership to meet objectives.
  • Assist employees with exceptions and problem resolution.
  • Unloading and loading of shipments, put away and replenishment, receiving, selection of products.
  • Conduct item demand/count checks and communicate issues to Supervisor.
  • Train and assess new employees and re-train as necessary.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency of duties; support safety initiatives.

Job description

Shift: 3rd shift – 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM (8‑hour days) and 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM (10‑hour days).

Pay rate: $21.06/hour.

Job Summary

In collaboration with the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Lead determines daily workload, sets priorities, and directs the team to meet daily objectives while providing superior service to Company’s Distribution Centers, Customers, and Suppliers and maintaining a positive proactive relationship with management and employees.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Supervisors to determine the daily, weekly, and monthly workload. Direct a team of employees and provide leadership and assistance with daily operations to meet all objectives. Assist employees with exceptions and problem resolution. Perform warehouse duties including but not limited to:

  • Unloading and loading of shipments
  • Put away and replenishment
  • Receiving
  • Selection of products
  • Item demand/count checks
  • Communicate any issues or suggestions to Supervisor
  • Train and assess new employees and re‑train as necessary
  • Ensure all employees are performing duties accurately and efficiently
  • Assist management with safety initiatives
  • Assist management with other duties as needed
Qualifications
Education

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

2‑5 years of warehouse experience, including strong knowledge of Import/Export receiving and shipping and inventory control processes, procedures and practices. Must be familiar with related OSHA regulations.

  • Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
  • Experience with HighJump/PeopleSoft, Voice Recognition and RF devices preferred
  • Must be certified on warehouse equipment
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, other office & warehouse equipment and telephone to talk and hear
  • Employee frequently required to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 50 lb. and/or move up to 200 lb. with assistance
  • During a regular workday, employee must stand and walk 75% of the time
  • Position primarily works in a warehouse environment and may be exposed to wet/humid conditions, cold, elevated ambient temperature, and outside weather conditions
  • Noise level is moderate, environment fast‑paced
  • Limited travel (<5%) may be required to attend company events, staff meetings, training sessions or customer meetings
  • Position may require evening, weekend or other shift work depending on business needs
