Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking a dependable Warehouse Team Lead to supervise daily warehouse operations, drive safety, productivity, and accuracy, and develop a hands-on team in a fast-paced environment.

You will train and coach team members, assign daily work, monitor performance, and lead continuous improvement efforts while upholding high standards for inventory control and order fulfillment. This role requires clear communication, accountability, and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or related operational experience.
  • Prior team‑lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to balance productivity, speed, and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse or inventory‑management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop warehouse team members.
  • Assign daily work and provide clear direction to ensure operational priorities are met.
  • Drive warehouse productivity while maintaining high standards for inventory control, order-fulfillment speed, and accuracy.
  • Monitor workflow, employee performance, and departmental results.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement through direct observation and collaboration with team members and warehouse leadership.
  • Promote a safety-first culture and ensure daily activities are performed in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety observations and promptly address unsafe conditions or behaviors.
  • Ensure required daily, weekly, and monthly communications, procedures, and reporting are completed consistently.
  • Escalate operational issues, safety concerns, staffing needs, and other important matters through the appropriate channels in a professional and timely manner.
  • Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Support inventory counts, receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and other warehouse activities as needed.
  • Lead by example and foster a positive, accountable, and team-focused workplace.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
