Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co is seeking a Warehouse Lead Associate at our Bishop Lane location. The role focuses on leading a team, coordinating daily order picking, and ensuring accurate delivery timelines.

You will oversee warehouse operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and enforce safety standards while leveraging warehouse software to track activity and performance. This hands-on leadership position requires the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a Warehouse Lead or similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse software and systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse associates, assign work, and hold team accountable.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time with accuracy.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through organized processes and record-keeping.
• Uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance across the facility.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.
• Operate cherry pickers, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain documentation and prepare reports for management.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

• Leadership and Supervision: Assign work and provide instructions to warehouse associates, setting clear expectations and holding team members accountable.
• Operational Management: Ensure all customer orders are picked, shipped accurately, and within required timeframes.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accuracy in inventory through effective organization and detailed record-keeping.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold safety standards, ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for all stakeholders, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any operational discrepancies and improve processes to prevent future issues.
• Equipment Operation: Operate cherry pickers, forklifts and other material handling equipment as necessary.
• Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate documentation for all warehouse activities and provide reports to management.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to physically handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics is a plus.
