Job summary

Iron Mountain Incorporated is seeking an Operations Team Lead for its Warehouse & Logistics team in Texas. The role focuses on managing daily operations at the logistics center, ensuring cost-effective service and satisfaction of internal and external customers. Schedule: 5 days/week, 7 am–4 pm.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of warehouse leadership, strong WMS knowledge, and the ability to mentor staff while maintaining KPIs and producing actionable reports to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of leadership experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and KPI-driven production monitoring.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs and perform frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operational flow by overseeing incoming and outgoing shipments, meticulously organizing merchandise, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory.
• Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor to foster positive employee relations, provide comprehensive training, and elevate employee issues as necessary to maintain open communication.
• Ensure productivity, quality, and compliance by mentoring staff, monitoring KPIs, and preparing detailed operational reports to inform decision-making.

Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled Operations Team Lead to join our Warehouse & Logistics team. This critical role involves managing the daily operations of the Logistics Center in a cost-effective way, ensuring both internal and external customer needs are met. The ideal candidate will be a leader who fosters a productive and efficient environment, directly contributing to our ability to satisfy customer demands.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Lead daily operational flow by overseeing incoming and outgoing shipments, meticulously organizing merchandise, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory.
• Collaborate with team members and the Operations Supervisor to foster positive employee relations, provide comprehensive training, and elevate employee issues as necessary to maintain open communication.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven leadership experience within a warehouse or logistics environment, specifically in fulfillment or e-commerce operations.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and skills in monitoring daily production goals and dynamically adjusting strategies to meet KPIs.
• Forklift certificate is a plus.
• Physical requirements to lift at least 40 lbs, with frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping as required for the role.
