Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Team Lead in Pullman, Illinois.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $32.25 per hour
• Lead Pay: $1.00 per hour shift pay
• Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm-12:00am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred
• 1+ year previous team lead experience preferred
• 1+ year Microsoft Office experience preferred
• Warehouse experience preferred
• RF scanner experience required
• Valid forklift license
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Flexible, able to work independently and in a team
• Organized, proactive, able to work under pressure
• Health and safety aware
• Bilingual (Québec locations only)

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve operational efficiency
• Perform warehouse tasks: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Organize daily work and allocate resources
• Motivate and guide team to meet KPIs
• Provide orientation and support to employees
• Promote health and safety practices
• Handle paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Complete reports and suggest improvements
• Perform additional duties as assigned
