Job summary

LiDestri Foods in Rochester, NY is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist and support the assigned functions of the warehouse department. You will help remove bands, breakdown totes, prep pallets, and ensure safe, orderly storage and handling of materials.

This role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable with lifting, wearing PPE, and following established procedures to maintain quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must wear PPE (ear protection, hairnet, safety glasses, gloves, etc.).
• Basic computer and math skills expected.
• Able to operate basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Remove bands and tops from bulk totes and breakdown totes.
• Prepare pallets for return to vendor and ensure proper disposal of scrap.
• Stack and wrap totes by vendor for loading; use Lift Assist safely.
• Inspect stored materials every 30 days for cleanliness and correctness.
• Document findings and notify supervisors of deficiencies.
