Job summary

LiDestri Foods, a Rochester, NY-based manufacturer, seeks a warehouse associate to ensure proper receipt, storage and delivery of finished and raw products. You will operate forklifts, use RF scanners, and move inventory acrossReceiving, Palletizer, Depalletizer and shipping areas.

The role requires adherence to GMP protocols, safety practices and accurate material handling in a fast-paced environment at our Rochester facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous forklift experience in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to use computer, perform basic math, and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with RF scanner guns and hand tools.
• Must wear required PPE (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Utilize RF scanner guns to manage inventory.
• Move, locate, relocate, stack and count inventory.
• Follow GMP protocols.
• Palletizer: remove wrapped pallets and deliver to the correct bay.
• Receiving: unload raw materials and deliver to proper bays.
• Depalletizer: unload glass and deliver pallets to depal area.
• Kitchen: deliver correct raw materials to kitchen.
• Rec/Railcars: load/unload rail cars and receive raw product.
• Shipping/Other Warehouses: relocate pallets and stage outgoing orders.
• Work safely and report food safety/quality issues.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
