Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Warehouse Support Associate in Arlington Heights, IL to manage inventory and support shipping/receiving. This contract-to-hire role offers growth potential and opportunities to work with a stable organization.

You will handle barcode/QR inventory, order preparation, and cycle counting while maintaining accuracy and safety in daily warehouse tasks. Experience in Excel and ERP is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience including inventory, shipping/receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Familiarity with barcode/QR inventory systems and cycle counting.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, stock, and organize inventory using barcode/QR systems.
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment; ensure accuracy before dispatch.
• Support cycle counting and inventory control processes.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies or damages.
• Utilize software tools (MS Office, ERP system) for order tracking and reporting.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing freight for pick-up.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklift required upon permanent hire).
• Maintain clean, safe, and efficient warehouse practices.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Support Associate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing inventory, supporting shipping and receiving functions, and maintaining accuracy within warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.
