Job summary

Woodgrain in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Material Handler to operate a forklift, move, stack, replenish, and load/unload materials for shipment. The role includes order pulling and ensuring safe, efficient handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Mathematical skills: add/subtract two-digit numbers; multiply/divide with 10s and 100s; use dollars and weights.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift safely and efficiently according to guidelines.
• Receives, unloads, moves and stacks material in designated locations.
• Uses forklift to move material to staging locations for loading.
• Loads trailers and prints/shapes shipping labels per route sheet.
• Performs replenishment duties and scans materials with handheld devices.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and supports physical inventories.
