Job summary

Harrington Industrial Plastics LLC seeks a warehouse supervisor to directly oversee three or fewer warehouse/driver associates, participate in hiring and evaluations, and approve timecards. You will ensure a secure, well-maintained facility with compliant procedures and safe vehicle use.

Responsibilities include accurate order picking, material movement, staging for delivery, data entry, and acting as a back-up driver when needed. A valid license and forklift familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier.
• Ability to lift and move 20 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds
• Proficiency with warehouse policies and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills; ability to collaborate with all levels of staff
• Ability to provide effective feedback

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of three or less warehouse/driver associates, participates in hiring and performance evaluations, and approves timecards.
• Ensures the warehouse is secure, maintains equipment and vehicles, and ensures safe use.
• Follows federal, state, and local regulations for warehousing, shipping, and material handling.
• Creates systems for organization and communication and ensures efficient space utilization.
• Maintains health and safety standards and safety training certifications and ensures staff safety.
• Reads customer orders to determine items to be gathered and distributed; moves items to storage and staging areas; packs and loads for delivery.
• Records materials received and distributed; performs data entry; completes requisition forms to order materials.
• Acts as back-up when delivery driver is unavailable.
