Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor - Shipping & Receiving to lead dock operations, ensure on-time materials movement, and maintain real-time inventory integrity using SAP/WMS.

You will coach team leaders, plan staffing, drive safety and continuous improvement, and collaborate with Scheduling, Production, Quality, and Customer Service to meet production and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a supervisor leading people and processes in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment.
• Proven knowledge of warehouse and inventory control processes.
• Proven ability to continuously improve operational costs and profitability.
• Proficiency in the use of ERP (SAP preferred) with knowledge of WMS and inventory controls.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Leads Shipping/Receiving Team Leaders and associates to achieve safety, quality, and service goals.
• Owns end-to-end dock operations including inbound receiving, outbound shipping, staging, and yard flow.
• Establishes and monitors metrics such as dock-to-stock time, on-time shipment, and inventory accuracy.
• Plans staffing and schedules to meet fluctuating inbound/outbound volumes.
• Ensures SAP/WMS transactions are accurate for real-time inventory integrity.
• Partners with Scheduling, Material Planning, Production, Quality, and CS to prioritize urgent needs.
• Oversees vendor and carrier dock scheduling and performance while meeting requirements.
• Ensures compliance with customer shipping requirements, labeling, and routing.
• Drives continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase productivity in dock areas.
• Investigates inventory discrepancies and shipping errors; maintains 6S standards.
• Trains and certifies staff on equipment and SOPs; supports audits and reporting.
