Qualifications

• 2 year degree preferred.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a warehouse manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years experience in OTC and personal care bulk manufacturing.
• Experience as a key trainer for equipment and procedures.
• Ability to climb ladders and work under machines.
• Working knowledge of production scheduling activities.
• Effective communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
• Proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize tasks in a high-volume workload.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project knowledge preferred.
• Working knowledge of computerized inventory systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Proactively implement, promote and maintain a safe working environment and OSHA compliance.
• Lead manufacturing team in achieving schedules and exceeding customer expectations.
• Foster continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
• Train, coach and develop subordinates to meet objectives.
• Maintain and administer policies to meet daily operating requirements and regulatory standards.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and drive inventory accuracy.
• Drive improvements to reduce past due, scrap, rework and overtime costs.
• Improve on-time delivery, labor utilization and productivity.
• Monitor performance to establish standard work formats and pacing boards.
• Support cross-functional collaboration to meet value stream goals.
