Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to oversee safety, production, and attendance within a warehouse setting. The role involves training, developing workgroups, and maintaining high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, and safety.

It requires proactive leadership and the ability to coordinate with personnel at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, prior management experience, and a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kgs).
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times, in compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and continual improvement.
