Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to oversee safety, production and attendance in a fast-paced warehouse. You will supervise, train, develop, and hold workgroups to high standards of productivity, accuracy, and customer service, while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include facilitating training, ensuring safety policies, managing resources for maximum output, and implementing development plans for staff. A strong leader with excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Flexible shift availability up to 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training for new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and all procedures comply with department, station, corporate and local requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy and efficiency.
• Establishes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and cross‑functional cooperation.
• Implements personal development plans to support ongoing growth of staff.
• Ensures orientation, skills training, and regular evaluations with proactive coaching.
