Job summary

Scholastic is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and develop warehouse staff in Pennsylvania. You will oversee recruiting support, scheduling, safety compliance, and performance evaluations while collaborating with Branch/Production managers to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Min 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in distribution or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, internet, email).
• Able to use scanner systems with few errors.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and hiring for warehouse staff and conduct 90-day orientation.
• Supervise, develop, and train warehouse personnel for productivity and retention.
• Evaluate and document performances; conduct appraisals; recommend salary changes; set goals.
• Adhere to OSHA, DOT, and EEOC requirements.
• Investigate incidents and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Schedule staff and maintain attendance; assist labor hours tracking.
• Assist in production planning and manage branch P&L.
