Michigan Sugar Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee sugar handling, packaging, warehousing, shipping and receiving at our Caro, MI facility. The role requires leadership to coach staff, maintain SQF standards, and promote safe, efficient operations.

You will work with sales and quality teams to meet customer demands while ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and MIOSHA. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field; 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient computer skills for communication, documentation and ordering supplies.
• Food safety training or willingness to obtain training.
• Lead with ethics and integrity; coach and develop teams.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver results within collective bargaining constraints.

Responsibilities

• Manage sugar handling, packaging, warehousing, shipping, and receiving operations.
• Supervise packaging, warehousing, and shipping personnel; oversee scheduling, onboarding, and training.
• Coordinate with maintenance for equipment reliability; ensure sanitation and pest-control programs.
• Ensure compliance with 21 CFR 100, GMP/food safety, and MIOSHA regulations; participate in audits.
• Administer quality and traceability records; manage non-conforming materials and storage practices.
