Job summary

Michigan Sugar Company is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee sugar handling, packaging, warehousing, shipping, and receiving at Caro, MI. The role requires leadership to coach staff, maintain SQF quality, and drive safety in daily operations.

You will supervise packaging, warehousing, and shipping teams, manage training, enforce policies, and coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient computer skills for communication, documentation and ordering supplies.
• Food safety training or willingness to obtain training.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory and warehouse operations to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
• Supervise packaging, warehousing, and shipping staff; manage scheduling and training.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, MIOSHA and GMP standards.
• Participate in audits, sanitation programs, and quality assurance measures.
• Coordinate with maintenance for equipment reliability and documentation.
