Job summary

Michigan Sugar Company is hiring a 3rd shift Warehouse Supervisor at 341 Sugar St., Carrollton, MI 48724. You will manage sugar handling, packaging, warehousing, shipping and receiving, while coordinating with sales and quality teams to meet customer demands and maintain SQF standards.

Lead and develop a team across packaging, warehousing and shipping, enforce SOPs, GMP/Food Safety and OSHA safety practices, and ensure compliance with AIB, HACCP, and related programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient computer skills for communication, documentation and ordering supplies.
• Food safety training or willingness to obtain training.
• Strong leadership to coach and train employees.
• Ability to work with a cross functional team.
• Ability to deliver results within a collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory, packaging, warehousing, shipping and receiving to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
• Coach and train employees on safety and teamwork.
• Direct Lift Truck Operators for inventory needs and scheduling.
• Enforce safety policies, labor laws and the collective bargaining agreement.
• Address employee concerns and disciplinary matters fairly.
