Job summary

Gold Star Foods in Dixon, CA is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and drive safety and accuracy across receiving, storage, and order fulfillment. You will manage workload, mentor teammates, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries while upholding SQF and company standards.

The role requires strong leadership, inventory control, and proficiency with WMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

3+ years of warehouse supervisor or lead experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams while maintaining a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
Experience enforcing safety, food safety (SQF), and compliance standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

Execute the day-to-day activities and lead line level employees in their daily responsibilities.
Ensure that the warehouse functions efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.
Maintain high team spirit in a neat and safe work environment by improving morale and reducing turnover.
Supervise staff and delegate required daily work tasks.
Recommend personnel actions to Warehouse Managers, including promotions and transfers.
Implement procedures to attain goals and monitor progress.
Prioritize and schedule warehouse daily workload.
Act as a liaison between Warehouse and Customer Service regarding issues impacting customer service.
Handle increased responsibility as activity demands.
Be present on the floor to ensure effective supervision.
Apply conflict resolution techniques.
Troubleshoot all processes to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements.
Set deadlines to ensure timely completion of workload.
