Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Chicago to oversee material handling, shipping, and inventory control. You will unload and load trucks, verify incoming shipments, operate forklifts, and ensure accurate documentation and delivery to QC and other departments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, two years of college preferred, plus related experience. SAP and Lotus Notes proficiency is expected, with strong organizational and safety practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; two years' college preferred.
High school diploma or GED with 1 year related experience or training, or equivalent.
Proficiency with SAP and Lotus Notes required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Unload/load materials from trucks; verify shipments against purchase orders and packaging slips.
Move and stage items; deliver to QC and other departments; prepare paperwork for processing.
Read production schedules and distribute materials to production workers or assembly lines.
Maintain inventory and housekeeping; assist other warehouse areas as needed.
