Job summary

Schindler Group is seeking a Lead Material Handler to oversee inventory management, cycle counting, and shipping/receiving. You will monitor team performance, ensure safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, the ability to drive company trucks between facilities, and optional operator certification within 60 days. Proficiency in SAP/MRP/ERP and Excel is preferred, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Will be required to drive company truck between Holland & Maumee facilities based on business demand.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Operator certification within 60 days.
• SAP/MRP/ERP Knowledge.
• Inventory Management Experience (Cycle Counting & Correcting Inventory).
• Working knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor & develop employees' performance to achieve and exceed departmental goals.
• Oversee inventory management through the Cycle Counting Program, shipping and receiving, and stock movements.
• Ensure safety practices and a safe work environment.
• Maintain records and reports for receiving, stores, issuing and shipment.
• Coordinate training and development for team members.
• Facilitate team meetings and support continuous improvement.
