Job summary

Schindler Group is seeking a Lead Material Handler to manage inventory, oversee shipping/receiving, and lead a crew to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency goals. The role requires SAP/ERP knowledge, cycle counting experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A truck-driving capacity between Holland and Maumee facilities is needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Must be able to drive company truck between Holland & Maumee facilities as required.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Operator certification required within 60 days.
• SAP/MRP/ERP knowledge is required.
• Inventory management experience (cycle counting).
• Excel knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and develop employees' performance to meet department and company goals.
• Oversee inventory management including cycle counting, shipping and receiving, and stock movements.
• Ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met.
• Coordinate training and provide guidance to team members.
• Maintain records and reports for receiving, storing, issuing, and shipment.
• Support production and customer satisfaction through effective team leadership.
