Job summary

Smith Industrial Rubber & Plastics, a Singer Industrial Company, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of all warehouse operations, ensuring the safe storage, handling, and distribution of products while maintaining accurate inventory records and optimizing performance.

You will lead a skilled team, manage cycle counts, coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, and implement process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM or related field.
• Several years of warehouse management experience.
• Knowledge of WMS and inventory control practices.
• Leadership and training ability.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order processing and shipping.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with regular cycle counts and replenishment.
• Ensure safety compliance and a clean working environment.
• Lead, train and evaluate warehouse staff for productivity.
• Identify process improvements and layout/automation opportunities.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics and vendor relationships.
• Oversee equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Generate reports on performance and provide insights to management.
