Job summary

Lineage is offering a DoD SkillBridge internship to train aspiring Warehouse Supervisors. The 90–120 day program aims to transition interns into full-time Warehouse Supervisor I roles, based on objectives and performance.

Interns will gain hands-on leadership experience in safety, quality and productivity within a warehouse environment. Locations include Albany, GA; Atlanta, GA; Lafayette, IN; Charleston, SC; Gaston, SC, with on-site training and mentorship to prepare for a civilian logistics

Qualifications

Must be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program in accordance with DODI 1322.29.
Two years of warehouse or logistics leadership experience.
Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Strong conflict management skills.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 °F and up to 100 °F in storage environments.
Must lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
Flexible work schedule and shifts, including weekends.
Comfort with various noise levels in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Manage procedures for incoming/outgoing shipments, organize merchandise, and maintain inventory.
Plan production schedules and allocate resources while tracking time and production records.
Track and report to designated plant personnel.
Monitor warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure product availability.
Operate machinery and material handling equipment.
Resolve employee issues and maintain open communication across levels.
Perform assigned projects as instructed.
