Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC in Groveport, OH is seeking a warehouse supervisor to plan layouts, oversee receiving, storage and shipping, and optimize workflow. You will guide safety practices and lead a team to maintain quality and efficiency.

Required is a high school diploma or GED with 3–4 years of relevant experience and 2–3 years of supervisory responsibility. The role offers a solid benefits package and growth opportunities within a leading logistics company.

Responsibilities

• Plan warehouse layout and storage areas considering turnover, size, weight and item characteristics.
• Advise employees on care, preservation and handling of stock; recommend equipment use and safety practices.
• Determine work procedures, prepare schedules and expedite workflow to meet deadlines.
• Assign duties and inspect work for accuracy, neatness and policy compliance.
• Maintain harmony among workers and resolve issues as they arise.
• Advise and enforce safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues
• Advises and Enforce safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Standing/Walking 75% of the time.
• Stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance.
• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds with hand truck/pallet jack and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Three to four years relevant, job-related experience, education or combination thereof.
• Two to three years supervisory experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Professional certification may be required in some areas
