Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a supervisory-level professional to plan warehouse layouts and coordinate storage operations. You will advise staff on handling, storage, and shipping procedures, and ensure policies and safety rules are followed.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of supervisory experience, and 3–4 years related experience, with professional certifications potentially required in some areas. The position emphasizes safety and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues.
• Advises and Enforce safety regulations.

Job description

Physical Requirements

• Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Job will require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
• Job will require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location.
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance.
• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds with hand truck/pallet jack and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand
• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Standing/Walking 75% of the time.
