Crane Cartage LLC is seeking a warehouse supervisor to plan layouts, supervise staff, and ensure safe, efficient storage and handling of goods. You will design workflows, assign tasks, and enforce policies while maintaining team harmony and high standards of safety.

This role requires leadership and a hands-on approach to improve quality and throughput. The ideal candidate has a GED or higher, 3–4 years in related roles, and 2–3 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to four years related experience.
• Two to three years supervisory experience required.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas.

Responsabilités

• Plan layout of warehouse and storage areas considering turnover and item characteristics.
• Advise employees on care, storage, and handling of stock and equipment.
• Determine work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow.
• Assign duties and inspect work for accuracy and policy conformance.
• Maintain harmony among workers and resolve conflicts.
• Advise and enforce safety regulations.

• Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues.
• Advises and Enforce safety regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Job will require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
• Job will require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location.
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance.
• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds with hand truck/pallet jack and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand
• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Standing/Walking 75% of the time.
