Job summary

Growscape in Middlefield, OH is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor for the evening shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM). You will lead daily operations, drive safety and quality, and manage a team in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires 2+ years in warehousing with leadership experience, forklift familiarity, and strong Excel/WMS skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; 5S and ERP exposure are valuable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Warehouse/Distribution environment.
• Minimum 12 months in a leadership role.
• Prior forklift experience required.
• 3rd party software exposure (payroll/timekeeping, ERP) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and other MS Office apps.
• Experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily shift work of assigned departments.
• Lead training for new employees and coaching staff.
• Monitor KPIs and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and 5S.
• Complete administrative paperwork accurately and on time.
• Support performance reviews and other supervisory activities.
• Ensure safe work culture, including lockout/tag out and forklift safety.
• Prioritize activities of team leaders and support departments.
• Lead by example and align with company values.

Job DetailsJob Location: OH Middlefield - Middlefield, OH 44062Unstoppable team. Nonstop energy. Brand new facility. Join Growscape as our next evening Warehouse Supervisor! This role runs four, 10-hour shifts, Monday - Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Individual must be a hands‑on leader with strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn distribution processes as it relates to operations and our company procedures
• Must possess process troubleshooting skills to respond to and drive performance/people development
• Must be able to lead training effort of new employees
• Direct daily shift work of assigned departments
• Must be able to accurately complete all administrative paperwork
• Achieve business goals in areas like safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Must be able to lead and create a safe work culture. Emphasis on lockout-tag out and forklift training needs
• Assist with performance reviews, plus other supervisory activities
• Support all company policies and Procedures including 5S and focused work teams
• Execute coaching and corrective discipline
• Ensure compliance of direct reports to all Growscape policies and procedures
• Prioritize activities of team leaders and support departments
• Monitor, maintain and improve key performance indicators daily
• Lead by example and perform all job duties in accordance with Growscape's values
• Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned

QualificationsEducation:

Experience:

• 2+ years cumulative experience in a Warehouse/Distribution environment
• Minimum of 12 months experience in a leadership role
• Prior forklift experience required
• 3rd party software exposure preferred with payroll/timekeeping and ERP
• Strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in RF Scanners & Warehouse Management Computer Software
• Prior experience with FedEx & UPS Systems
