Job summary

CyberCoders in Dunn, NC seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, staging, and shipping. You will supervise staff, maintain safety, and ensure inventory accuracy while driving continuous improvement with Lean and Six Sigma using SAP for reporting.

You will partner with manufacturing, quality, and logistics to support production schedules and customer requirements, manage cycle counts, and deliver actionable KPIs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (MM/WM or other ERP/WMS) or similar ERP/WMS systems.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma tools; Yellow/Green Belt certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop staff, and manage performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including occasional overtime and weekend coverage; ability to lift/move materials as required by role.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred; knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA or local equivalent) and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance management, and enforcing safety and company policies.
  • Oversee receiving, inspection, put-away, inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure on-time fulfillment and accuracy.
  • Maintain and improve inventory accuracy through cycle counts, root cause analysis of discrepancies, and reconciliation activities.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and production planners to prioritize material flow, support production schedules, and manage abnormal material conditions.
  • Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, increase throughput, and improve quality.
  • Manage use of SAP (or other WMS/ERP systems) for inventory transactions, reporting, and process documentation; identify system enhancements and user training needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and promote a culture of safety across the team.
  • Prepare and present operational metrics, KPIs, and improvement plans to leadership; develop action plans to address performance gaps.
  • Support onboarding of temporary or contract labor during peak periods and maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet service targets.
  • Collaborate with procurement, quality, and shipping carriers to resolve material issues, expedite urgent orders, and manage returns or non-conforming goods.
