Job summary

Optimal Solution Company in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse employees and ensure safety, quality, productivity, and responsiveness.

You will lead shifts, coordinate workloads, and drive continuous improvement using WPO and A-3 problem solving while maintaining payroll accuracy and adherence to contracts. This role requires strong background in manufacturing, scheduling, and team leadership with a focus on communication.

Qualifications

• Education/experience requirements include HS diploma and technical training.
• Minimum 10+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience supervising hourly workers including UAW employees.
• Training in skilled trades or equivalent technical training.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and support hourly employees with needs and concerns.
• Address performance behaviors positively and constructively.
• Use Quality Network to address opportunities and engage the workforce.
• Apply Workplace Organization (WPO) to improve layouts and efficiency.
• Update Timekeeping System (TKS) daily for payroll accuracy.
• Document problem solving with A-3 reports.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate performance and foster two-way dialogue.
• Conduct daily safety observation tours.
• Plan daily workloads in advance.
• Support colleagues to optimize shift performance.
• Observe contractual requirements (National and Local).
• Enforce Shop Rules.
• Perform daily SOP audits.
• Advance skills through IDP process.
• Keep General Supervisor Shop Committee apprised.
