Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company in Toms River, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Northeast Distribution operations. This full-time role focuses on safe, efficient warehouse and delivery processes with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.

You will report to the Branch Manager, coordinate with the Assistant Branch Manager, and drive standard operating procedures while maintaining a safe, organized facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in warehouse operations, delivery, shipping/receiving, and inventory.
• OSHA safety knowledge.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• Commercial driving experience with valid license and good driving record.
• Must obtain or have DOT medical card.
• Forklift and other PIV certifications preferred.
• HVAC industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee warehouse and delivery operations to deliver outstanding customer service and employee safety
• Work closely with the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager to ensure consistency in branch culture and communication
• Oversee the cycle counting process at the location ensuring completion and accuracy
• Maintain physical facility to ensure safety, protect against loss, and represent a professional company image
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures
• May be required to perform the various warehousing and delivery tactical roles when needed
• All other duties and project work as assigned

The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse setting as well as a good driving record, the ability to work well with others, and a self-motivated mentality.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated, and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of a strong background in warehouse operations, delivery, shipping and receiving, and inventory required
• HVAC industry experience a plus, but not required
• Warehouse health & safety knowledge, including OSHA requirements
• Warehouse management experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently with minimal direction
• Ability to delegate tasks when necessary
• Good judgment and decision-making skills
• Willingness to work with customers, contractors, and employees in a professional manner
• High level of organization and follow through
• Willingness to own and lead warehouse projects
• Commercial driving experience is required as well as a valid driver’s license and a good driving record per company policy
• Must be able to obtain or currently have a DOT medical card
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights of 20 ft. on a regular basis
• Forklift and other PIV certifications are preferred
