We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Branch Manager to join our team and lead the operations, customer service, and team development at one of our distribution branch locations. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to blend operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and strong people leadership to drive growth and profitability while fostering a positive workplace culture.

This position serves our Rheem Northeast Distribution and is located in Totowa, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all branch operations, including customer transactions, warehouse management, inventory, delivery, and financial transactions.
• Ensure the branch operates to the highest standards and meets key performance metrics.
• Provide input on the annual budget and manage monthly profit and loss (P&L) performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, sales, and other cross-functional teams to support current and potential customers and the overall business.
• Promote and enforce a safe, compliant, and hazard-free work environment by leading safety practices, upholding company guidelines, and ensuring all employees are trained and supported in maintaining a strong safety culture.
• Guarantee top-tier customer service in every transaction, building and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
• Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Foster a positive and safe workplace culture aligned with our core values.
• Set clear expectations for employees and provide ongoing coaching, development, and feedback.
• Promote and enable training and professional growth opportunities for team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in a distribution or warehouse environment, with a focus on strong customer service acumen
• Must have demonstrated Hydronics and HVAC knowledge/experience.
• Experience managing and developing a team
• Knowledge of business principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and team leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with operational systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to analyze data and implement actionable insights.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) and delivery vehicles.

The pay scale for this position $84,400 - $154,764. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
