# Warehouse Supervisor (3rd Shift) - Distribution Center6352 - Niles, IL 60714## OverviewSalary Range$73,000.00 - $78,000.00 SalaryPosition TypeFull TimeJob ShiftThird Shift## Description**SUMMARY**Responsible for managing and directing all activities within a Distribution Center which supports several manufacturing facilities that produce products for public consumption. This position is to exemplify leadership of a Continuous Improvement philosophy within the Department.**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES*** Oversee direct reports covering 7-day operations.* Conducts daily warehouse meetings.* Participates in production, labor planning, safety, and management meetings.* As assigned staffing, and management meetings to properly communicate departmental achievements and goals to all necessary parties.* Stakeholder of safety, quality, labor efficiency, productivity, and housekeeping within department.* Serves as a point of contact for Sales, Finance, Customer Service and Production regarding material management.* Direct and lead departmental continuous improvement initiatives.* Direct and lead departmental continued education and internal training programs.* Monitor team members compliance of company policies within the department and consistently enforces rules and regulations set forth.* Ensures department payroll is accurate and completed in a timely manner.* Analyze and initiate alternatives for labor, material and inventory control cost savings.* Accountable for department compliance with all necessary governmental regulations i.e.: OSHA, DOT and DOL.* Support departmental compliance with all Georgia Nut Company food safety programs i.e.: HACCP, SQF, Allergen Program and Documentation Control.* Ability to hire, discipline, and provide structured training of all direct reports within the department.* Other duties assigned by Manager.## Qualifications**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS**Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline required.Advanced communication skills both verbal and written.Proficient in excel, word, and outlook.Computer skills within an ERP systemExtensive knowledge of current food safety regulations.Time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast environment.Develop, coach and mentor team members.Identify material variances and provide continuous improvement suggestions.Develop departmental goals and objectives that support GNC KPI’s.
