Dart Entities is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Suffolk, VA to oversee daily warehouse operations and guide a team of associates toward production goals.

Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks, monitoring performance, conducting pre-shift meetings, and enforcing safety and policy adherence. The role requires experience in warehouse management systems and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse supervisor experience.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and stay calm in stressful situations.
• Working knowledge of warehouse equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Set priorities, work assignments and provides direction and feedback to all associates within the warehouse.
• Reviews the daily work objective and determines productivity requirements to produce during the shift to meet the overall building objectives.
• Conducts daily pre-shift meetings and submits daily end of shift report.
• Train, enforce and effectively communicate all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain safe warehouse practices and procedures throughout the facility by driving safety compliance.
• Manages and maintains good human resources practices with all associates, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Works with Management and Human Resources to resolve employee relation issues, discipline actions, problem resolution and terminations.
• Provides feedback, coaching, and recognition to enhance associate’s skill development.
• Create and foster culture for continuous improvement, compliance, and accountability.
